What started off at the beginning of the South African Lockdown on 26 March 2020 (almost a year ago). Seeing a few birds fly down into the birdbath we have in the yard, we decided to start putting birdseed down for them.
In no time, it seemed to attract numerous amounts of birds, including nesting in our tree. We started of just buying 500grams of seed, then to 1 kg then 5kg now we are sitting at 10kg of birdseed every month.
It such a blessing to hear all the singing and chirping in the morning.
Mornings with a cup of tea, camera or camcorder, I just cannot help but get so much pleasure in capturing the daily lives of our "Wild Bird Family"
Such a delightful moment in the morning, to see the little frets arrive with their babies for their food.
These little families are really growing now.
We can be assured that come rain or hot days, our mornings, afternoons and early evening is filled with the sound of these beautiful souls.
