Saturday 28th August 2021, a really bitterly cold day it was, by late afternoon it was announced snow was falling in our own area of Pietermaritzburg - Hilton. So off we go to view the snow. Never for a moment did I expect to see so much snow falling.
It was so peaceful. People were out with their children, letting them play and building snowmen. For once the people of South Africa forgot about the stress of lockdown and corona, it was sheer excitement, giggles and loads of chatting - just felt like the old times!
Just so very beautiful the falling of snow created.

We took a drive further up to see the snow in other areas, and the people were all out playing and takes pictures. What a blessing it has been.
