When not in my photography studio, then you will find me crafting. My crafts I do like to put focus around photos and memories of course, but it is not always the case.
I have tried flea markets, selling online and that does not work. I really cannot always understand to why some will hesitate and pay for homemade gifts and goods, yet off to the cheap malls and pick up items that don't always last. But that is the way things are today.
My family know me well enough, on
birthdays, Christmas or just because I want you, they are going to be gifted some crafts. I have been making some awesome little A5 notebooks/journals. They are comb binned, some have multi colour pages and the other have white. It depends of the feeling I get when I put the journals together.
Rather awesome they are, I love them but yeah off for the gifting box it will be until it finds its new owner.
Reading Books.
Reading is such an important part of a child's life. (retired school teacher :-) lecture) online they offer so many readers for free downloading, which I did and then comb binded the reader, it also is laminated to last a long time.
Activity Books
An awesome little activity book I made with workers, this too is laminated so that a white marker or any colour can be used for the tasks, such an awesome idea for a gift.
2022 Calenders
I had seen this given as a gift before, so I decided to try this out and see what it came out like. rather very proud of myself
Wedding Albums, oh gosh I love capturing the memories of a wedding, in my glory when I get to do a wedding, just love the build to the day and the events from the church to the reception such a happy moment for any young couple. So this is when I thought well let me try making my own wedding albums as gifts.. made 5 in fact, 3 portraits and 2 in landscape, same combed bind and waterproof and laminated to last a life time I would say.
So that has been my busy crafting over the past few weeks. Have enjoyed making them all. Will share very soon some more to add to the range of gifts.
