A sewer inspection using a camera lets a plumber get a real-time look at the condition of your plumbing pipes. A camera will show if you have corrosion in any of the piping. It can also reveal weaknesses in the system.
My client's sewer line was giving continuous blocking problems, this is when I advised him that a camera inspection was needed to solve the problem.
Looking at the video below, this is the report compiled for my client with regards to the problem. Once we found the issue, problemed resolved, repaired and a happy client.
Report on Camera surveillance of the sewer line.
From the manhole that is at the corner of the house going downstream picking up the new
bathroom installations and Gulley.
There is PVC piping from the manhole down to 4.54 Meters where there is a change to
Earthenware to 6.96 Meters then changes back to PVC for the rest of the inspection.
At 4.65 and 5.96 Meters, there is a hairline crack at the top of the Earthenware pipe.
At 5.59 Meters Looks like there was a manhole and a piece of Earthenware has been placed on
top of the junction.
At 7.17 meters to 8.00 Meters the pipe is compressed slightly.
From the second manhole next to the retaining wall going upstream towards the first manhole
there is PVC pipe all the way through to 22 Meters where there is a manhole.
We could not get past the manhole.
At 12.09 Meters slight kink in the pipe at 12 O Clock
At 18.85 Meters slight kink in the pipe at 6 O Clock.
Once this manhole has been located we recommend that this line be jetted going upstream
towards the first manhole next to the house.
From the manhole that is next to the retaining wall going downstream, the pipe is PVC.
At 26.7 Meters there is silt in the line.
At 24.5 Meters there is a manhole.
The pipe is in good condition.
Once this manhole has been located we recommend that this line be jetted going downstream.
From the manhole next the main house going upstream towards the kitchen.
At 9, 21 Meters the earthenware pipe is sealed off with concrete and there are no junctions on
this line.
From the vent pipe going downstream.
Where the cast iron elbow joins the earthenware pipe underground, there is a bad crack, we
couldn't get past this point due to the crack
